The first one shall be the last one
number two the last but one
the one who was the last but second
will advance to number three
and he or she who was the fourth
shall now be last but three
and from the fifth position
you will end up last but four

We can't go on like this forever
in the middle we will hit
the single one who never ever 
can jump or move his feet
and never can he follow   
the others up nor down
the central one is solo
and must stay there all alone
